More upgraded rail plant leaving our yard. This time an Atlas 1604ZW for QTS Group which has undergone a full upgrade to RIS-1530-PLT issue 6.
The Atlas RRV has had the following additions; additional undercarriage weights, 8 new correctly rated tyres, and a fall off protection ring on the upper part of the machine. The GKD RCI system has been upgraded to issue 6 and, using our in-house state of the art testing facilities, has been calibrated and verified by performing tip testing, the machine has now regained its lifting capacity and duties which had previously been lost by up to 50%. After lots of other modifications and repairs the machine was repainted and fitted with new stickers and decals to ensure it was looking as good as new, ready for collection. All work carried out was in accordance to and compliant with RIS-1530-PLT issue 6.
