Daedong Pile Driver - Railway Line Demo

Here’s a short video of the Daedong DPD600T in action last week, working at Batch Plant’s facilities in Cwmbran, South Wales.

The demonstration was set up in collaboration with Balfour Beatty Rail and Network Rail, to test and exhibit the capabilities of the Daedong Pile Driver when used on a long reach Doosan 270, provided by Total Rail Solutions.

With this set up it is possible to place tubular piles of 610mm & 762mm diameter, at a radius of up to 10 metres from the railway line.

All involved were very impressed with the capabilities of the system, which resulted in all parties to prepare and co-ordinate the works more effectively.
